Happy Birthday To Tyler!!!

On Friday the 17th Tyler and i celebrated his 25th Birthday! I woke up early and made him breakfast in bed...after that unfortunately we both had to work..BUT my manager let me off early so i could go home and make him a nice dinner. Tyler got a fishing pole for his birthday and was very excited to use it! On Sunday we went out to a lake set up a little blanket and picnic and Tyler set up all his fishing stuff from the shore to see what we could catch. Tyler caught two really nice rainbow trout! One, We ate for dinner! Yum.. And i am proud to announce It was my very first time fishing and i caught my very first fish!!! It was only about 2 inches long BUT i did catch a fish all by myself and I was very proud! It was such a nice afternoon! We spent all day together just having a nice picnic and hanging out by the lake. The weather was great and we had so much fun. I loved my first experience fishing! Later that day we went on a walk around the lake and saw a wolf!!! It was the coolest thing ever. It was a great topper to a great day. We have seen a bear and a wolf and all sorts of crazy animals here in BC. Tyler had a very nice birthday! And especially enjoyed fishing! He was also very generous and took me to Harry Potter on his Birthday weekend. Which was freaking amazing!!!!!!! So good..I love Harry. And Tyler actually said he liked it too!! So it was all around an amazing weekend. The only downer to the whole weekend was a huge forest fire here in Kelowna about 15 minutes from where we live. There is a forest fire going on that has caused over 11,000 families to evacuate their homes. It is a tragedy but it has been cool to see everyone pulling together and helping eachother. When you go outside all you can smell is smoke and the sky is SO smokey. Tyler was on the other side of the fire when it started and we were afraid they wouldn't be able to make it home for the weekend but thank goodness they found a way around!!

Tylers two that he caught!
